We staff ambulances at three main stations and several satellite stations, making us a large and secure organization. The ambulance service in Region Örebro County is divided into three different locations: Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg. In total, we staff 17 ambulances distributed across our three main stations with associated satellite stations.

In this role, you will work as a nurse in a team within the ambulance service, where you will encounter a wide range of healthcare situations in both urban and rural areas. You will be responsible for providing emergency care and utilizing your medical skills in varying environments. The position involves close collaboration with experienced colleagues at different stations, where teamwork is central to providing safe and effective care.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or who is expected to be licensed by the summer. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have good teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have further education in ambulance care or at least one year of experience as a nurse.

A valid driver's license (B) is required, as well as swimming ability of 200 meters and a passing result on the physical test that all applicants must undergo. Read more and watch the film linked below.

Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

Test days will be held: 24/11, 27/11, 11/12, 18/12, 9/1, and 22/1.

The day includes an interview, physical, and driving tests. The day will take place in Örebro, Karlskoga, or Lindesberg and will take about 3 hours. To prepare yourself in the best way for the test day, watch the film linked below.

Mandatory training days will start as early as spring. Attendance on these days is a requirement for employment. During training days and orientation sessions, a temporary employment contract will be offered.

The application should include a CV and a personal letter. Certificates, grades, diplomas, etc., should be submitted at a possible interview.
