About the position

As the head of the deli and cold kitchen department at ICA Supermarket Waxholm, you play a key role in driving and developing the department. You are given the unique opportunity to put your personal touch on the department and take it to new heights! Your responsibilities include ensuring that the department meets its goals according to budget and business plan, while leading and inspiring your team to success.

We are looking for someone who loves food, has good knowledge of manual meat, fish, cheese, and cold cuts as well as cold kitchen. You are driven to create fantastic customer experiences and have a natural leadership ability. As a team player, you enjoy collaborating and working towards common goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and lead the daily operations of the deli and cold kitchen department.
• Ensure that the department adheres to the highest standards according to food regulations.
• Work with creativity and precision in the cold kitchen, such as preparing ready-made dishes, sandwiches, and other delicacies.
• Improve sales, reduce waste, and create an inspiring store environment.
• Motivate, coach, and develop your team to achieve common successes.
• Ensure that the department's assortment and prices are current and attractive to our customers.
• Contribute to a work environment characterized by engagement, simplicity, and entrepreneurship.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a great interest in food with previous experience in manual handling of meat, fish, cold cuts, cheese, and cold kitchen.
• Is a team player with a good ability to lead and motivate others.
• Has the ability to organize, prioritize, and drive the development of the department.
• Is engaged, results-driven, and has high social competence.

• You need to be able to travel to the store without relying on public transport between 6 AM and 10 PM.
