Trygghetscentrum is looking for employees for our new operation - Home Care! As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the operation together with the regular workgroup. You will have the chance to be involved in starting up the business, which is a significant experience and very enjoyable.
We strive to create an environment where each individual care recipient feels seen, heard, and respected, and we work to ensure that every care recipient maintains their quality of life until the end of life.
Working in home care largely involves independent work, but it also requires a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and other partners to achieve good functionality in the operation. The tasks involve supporting the care recipient in daily activities, which means assisting with personal hygiene, cleaning, clothing care, shopping, daily training, activities, and walks, depending on the services the care recipient has been granted through a support decision. The work involves a significant amount of personal responsibility, flexibility, and requires a relationship-building approach.
Previous experience in care work within elderly care, especially in home care, is an advantage. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people, who has a good ability to see the whole picture while also being able to recognize each individual's circumstances and needs. You are responsible, attentive, unpretentious, and have good self-awareness. You are well acquainted with the Swedish language through clear and well-formulated speech and have a good ability to express yourself in writing. Documentation is part of the daily work, so familiarity with documentation is a requirement. You need to be an experienced computer user and be willing to learn the various systems we use in the operation. You should be able to perform the work with high quality and safety, follow the operation's routines and guidelines, participate in various activities in quality work, engage in follow-up and analysis of continuous improvement work, and manage deviations and incidents. Since we sometimes cycle to our care recipients, it is a requirement that you can cycle. A B driver's license is also required as we sometimes need to use a car for our home visits. Flexible working hours mean work during the day, evenings, and weekends. Sometimes night work may occur, for example, during relief or palliative care. To be employed as a nursing assistant, proof of a protected professional title issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare is required.
Reference checks are always conducted during recruitment, and we request contact with two different references, one of whom should have been a supervisor and have good knowledge of your work performance. Grades and other certificates are not attached to the application but should be provided during a possible follow-up interview. Before employment, an extract from the criminal record along with valid photo identification must be presented. The position involves both day, evening, night, and weekend work.
Applications or questions about the position can be answered by emailing us at: [email protected].
We do not accept applications or inquiries about the position via phone.
