Description

Our short-term care service is aimed at children and young people with disabilities, who belong to the target group according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).

The service provides short-term stays overnight, meaning that children/youth stay at the short-term unit, receive a change of environment and recreation while their relatives are given the opportunity for relief.

We also conduct supervision for children/youth over 12 years in connection with the school day and during holidays.

Job Responsibilities

You will work day and night shifts with sleeping on-call duty and possibly some shorter leisure shifts during the day. Your tasks are multifaceted and include personal care, medication management, needs-based support in everyday situations, household chores, and activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a care and nursing education, or another equivalent post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant. You preferably have good knowledge of the autism spectrum and/or a pedagogical focus.

Driver's license B.

A criminal record extract is required for work with children.

Your Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with great commitment and interest in working with children and youth. As a person, you should be attentive, independent, responsible, and clear. You demonstrate good cooperation skills with both the children and their relatives as well as other partners. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and workloads as the number of children with varying needs fluctuates. You preferably have a pedagogical focus and an emphasis on development and motivational work. You are expected to carry out ongoing social documentation and implementation plans based on your role as contact staff.

Working Hours/Duration:

Permanent employment. We hire continuously during the recruitment period.
