Do you want to help develop patient safety in the City of Gothenburg? We are replacing a MAR colleague who has taken on another assignment.

The city has gathered all those with the assignment as MAS and MAR in the Elderly and Care Administration. The assignment is to ensure patient safety within elderly care and functional support. The medically responsible nurse (MAS) and the medically responsible for rehabilitation (MAR) are part of a unit together with Socially Responsible Coordinators (SAS) and from the turn of the year, MAS and MAR will form their own unit within the Department of Health and Medical Care.

In your role as MAR, you are one of Gothenburg City's experts in patient safety. In this assignment, you are responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of municipal health and medical care. You investigate and follow up to ensure that the operations systematically work with patient safety, suggesting improvements based on identified deficiencies. Prioritized tasks include conducting in-depth investigations of care injuries and reporting lex Maria cases, as well as reporting incidents involving medical technology products to the Medical Products Agency. Your work also includes writing reports, analyses, and service statements, developing guidelines according to legislation, and ensuring that operations systematically work with patient safety.

About You

The following is required for the position:

• A university degree as a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist
• You should be well-versed in health and medical care legislation and have experience working with investigations and event analysis.
• Several years of experience in municipal health and medical care
• You should be well-versed in regulations and handling of medical technology products

It is meritorious:

• You may have experience from previous MAR assignments and/or quality and development work in a leadership position, preferably as a manager, in a politically governed organization.
• Documented in-depth knowledge of health and medical law, master's or postgraduate education.
