ABOUT THE WORKPLACE
Do you want to help develop our important student health work and contribute to creating the best conditions for our students' health and learning? We are now looking for a school psychologist for the Central Student Health in Tranås municipality.

The Central Student Health is an independent organization within the Department of Education and Child Services. In the role of school psychologist, you will be part of Tranås municipality's Central Student Health, which consists of school psychologists, school social workers, school nurses, and special educators. The primary mission of the student health team is to work health-promoting and preventive, as well as to support students' development towards educational goals.

The psychology team, which also includes two other school psychologists, is located in shared premises together with the head of student health, special educators, and the medically responsible school nurse. This enables daily contact with psychology colleagues and other student health staff.

The school psychologists in the Småland highlands have a well-established tradition of close collaboration, which allows for the exchange of experiences across municipal borders. The group meets regularly with an external supervisor to receive support in ongoing work and to develop the profession.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a school psychologist with us, we want you to have a cross-professional perspective and actively work together with other professional categories to create accessible learning environments for our students. You will be involved in the schools' student health work and contribute to the continued development of health-promoting and preventive work in the municipality's schools. The work also includes some investigative work aimed at mapping abilities, discovering and removing barriers to learning, in order to adapt schoolwork for students in the best way.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist. Previous experience working as a psychologist with children and adolescents, preferably within the school system, is an advantage.

As a person, you are attentive, respectful, flexible, and responsible. Your approach is inclusive and solution-focused. You find it easy to collaborate with other professional groups and can clarify and disseminate your psychological knowledge. You also have the ability to work independently and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
