Care Assistant at Tomasgården

Join us in ensuring that everyone receives the care and support they are entitled to! We are now looking for a trained care assistant for centrally located Tomasgården.

You will have walking distance to the city's square and shops. Tomasgården has three departments, two of which are adapted for people with dementia or other cognitive impairments. In total, we have 36 apartments and about 40 employees.

Since spring 2021, Tomasgården has been connected to the newly built Tegnérhuset, which adds another 36 apartments. The boundaries between the existing building and the new one are fluid, and we have great opportunities to use the common areas in a varied way. In addition to the housing, there is also the preschool Vildvinet and a new kitchen on the ground floor. The modern kitchen provides meals for both children and the elderly.

As a care assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of our elderly residents' daily lives. Your most important task is to ensure that each person’s need for care and support is met, socially, culturally, and physically. This is a role where your contribution makes a difference for others.

It is important to us that you are someone who values and respects everyone’s right to privacy and bodily integrity, self-determination, and participation. To fit into the role, you need to be able to collaborate but also be comfortable working independently and taking your own initiatives.

The positions are permanent contracts at 80 percent.
