The organization includes psychological, pedagogical, curative, speech therapy, and medical expertise gathered under the leadership of the school health manager. Our work has a health-promoting and preventive focus and is carried out in close collaboration with principals and teams at the schools.

You are centrally employed and work with a local placement at the school. The position is at Sörgårdsskolan, which is a primary school with grades F-3 and an adapted primary school with grades 1-9.

Responsibilities

The school health service must work preventively and health-promoting according to the Education Act. The school health service supports students in their efforts to achieve the educational goals. You play an important role in supporting students with adjustments and assistance so that the school day is stimulating and works well for all students. Your main responsibilities are therefore preventive health work at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

The school nurse's health-promoting tasks include health visits, health conversations, vaccinations, issues related to students' working environment, the school's value-based work, attendance work, lifestyle-related health issues, simpler healthcare interventions, and reception together with the school doctor. The assignment also includes further developing the school health work together with the school's health team, other school nurses, and the school doctor.

Qualifications

Education as a school nurse or alternatively a nurse with training in health and medical care for children and adolescents or open health and medical care.
