The Role of Nursing Assistant

In the role of nursing assistant, you should be able to work independently and in a structured manner, while also appreciating being part of our collective work and a team. Providing good service and working safely with patients is a given for you, and you easily adapt to changing circumstances when needed.

Your tasks will also include working in our laboratory operations and the work it involves. Work at the Emergency Care Unit in Eksjö and our branch in Malmbäck may also occur.

Your Future Workplace

The health center in Bodafors has about 4,000 registered residents in the surrounding area. We have a broad cultural diversity among our residents, and our mission includes both younger (children from 1 year) and older patients. The health center is responsible for several nursing homes and operates a branch in Malmbäck together with Nässjö health center, which we staff with nurses and doctors every Tuesday.

About 19 employees work in Bodafors. Our workgroups are self-managing and work closely together to drive the work forward with the patient in focus. The health center is the “small” health center where staff meet at the coffee table every day. Our relationships are close and filled with joy. We support and uplift each other.

Your Profile

We are now looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and have a few years of experience in primary care. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with laboratory-related tasks such as taking blood samples. Since we have a rolling closing schedule, some working hours may mean that you are the only nursing assistant on site. This requires personal responsibility and the ability to take initiative in unforeseen events. We would also like you to have experience working with the Cosmic journal system.

The position is a permanent full-time position (100%) with a start date according to agreement.

This includes tasks such as independently checking vital parameters, EKG registration, assisting in examinations, and ensuring that the materials needed for patient work are available. Administrative tasks also occur, and it is an advantage if you are familiar with the journal system used by the Region.
