Information Security Specialist

As an Information Security Specialist at Combitech in Stockholm or Linköping, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where security threats and complex IT environments are part of everyday life. In this consulting role, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with security requirements, identifying and preventing threats, and leading information security efforts with a focus on risk assessment and management.

Your Role as an Information Security Specialist

In the role of Information Security Specialist, you will work on exciting assignments for clients in the defense industry. Your tasks will include ensuring that information security efforts align with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines. You will identify, analyze, and reduce security risks, manage security in public and private clouds, and review security requirements in cloud services.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to educate and share knowledge through security training, presentations, and workshops. You will drive and lead the accreditation process for IT systems to ensure they meet applicable security standards and requirements. You will be part of our team, consisting of about ten experts in information security, where each member contributes their unique expertise to strengthen our common goals. Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, we see that you have an academic degree in IT, information security, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. We believe you have about 5 years of work experience in the field and good knowledge of information and IT security in public or private cloud services. You have a good understanding of security requirements in complex IT environments and can communicate security risks in an educational manner. As a consultant at Combitech, it is important that you have strong consulting skills, good communication skills, and the ability to be flexible. We also value initiative and the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own projects.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with information security, risk management, and compliance with security measures such as ISO 27001 or NIST. Strongly meritorious is experience working within FMV or the Armed Forces with ISD and/or KSF as frameworks for high-level requirements for IT systems, as well as work with the Security Protection Act.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
