Security Guard – Norrköping

About the position

You will primarily work with security services, but depending on your skills and experience, tasks may also include crowd control, parking supervision, and store monitoring.

Experience in protective or harbor security services and as a security guard is a plus.

The work is mainly conducted in Norrköping, but assignments may occur in other parts of Östergötland.

The positions are suitable for those seeking flexibility in working hours and want to combine security assignments with other employment or studies.

Job responsibilities

Examples of common tasks include:

• Patrolling and area surveillance
• Alarm responses and actions
• Stationary guarding
• Property emergency and safety services
• Locking of stores and service tasks
• Parking supervision and store monitoring

Requirements and qualifications

• Valid security guard training (VU1/VU2) or other relevant training (e.g., OPV, crowd control)
• Driver's license B
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Good English in speech and writing
• Good ability to handle stress and act calmly in pressured situations
• Basic technical understanding of IT support and reporting systems

Personal qualities

You are meticulous, reliable, and independent with high integrity.

You have an easy time collaborating and communicating, and can switch between service and authority depending on the situation.

Since the job sometimes involves property emergency services, you should be practically inclined and able to perform simple tasks.
