At the Community Building Office, about 200 people work to make Sigtuna Municipality an attractive, vibrant, and safe place to live and work. We plan new residential and business areas. We design and build streets and utilities for water and sewage. We take care of parks and forests as well as schoolyards, preschool yards, and playgrounds. We work on traffic issues, parking supervision, waste management, and much more. We handle regulatory activities and exercise supervision and control, as well as issue permits in our areas. We invest in our employees through good resources for professional development and joint activities. Sigtuna Municipality is an expanding municipality with extensive housing construction, many business establishments, and investments in public spaces.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a construction worker focusing on playgrounds, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining safe, accessible, and inspiring play environments within preschools, schools, and the municipality's playgrounds. The work is carried out both independently and in teams, and includes both planned projects and ongoing operational and maintenance efforts.

The role is practical and varied, with outdoor work year-round. It requires good physical fitness, an eye for detail, and a strong desire to contribute to safe and stimulating environments for children and families in the municipality. The work also includes meeting residents in a service-oriented and professional manner regarding questions or comments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a B driver's license, preferably C plus E or BE. We consider it an advantage if you have experience with machinery and training in play safety. To succeed in the job, you need to be able to speak and write Swedish fluently.

As a person, you are collaborative, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working together with others towards common goals and have a practical and proactive approach to problems and challenges. You see opportunities where others see obstacles and actively contribute to finding effective solutions.

The position is a temporary contract for the period from March 1 to September 30, 2026.
