Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand operation.
We work on about 100 projects in 17 countries and operate around 50 stores under Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden, Norway, and online.
We work towards the vision of “A changed world where children's dreams come to life.”
Our mission is to combat poverty and vulnerability by realizing children's rights worldwide.
Erikshjälpen is now looking for a Team Leader for our store in Halmstad.

Description
You will play an important role in achieving the store's established goals, our surplus goals, social goals, and sustainability and environmental goals. As a team leader, you are therefore an operational leader who performs the daily work with a focus on the store. No day is the same; as a team leader, we see that you are flexible, take initiative when needed, and enjoy a varied job.
Responsibilities
Examples of responsibilities:
- You are the team leader for employees, volunteers, and individuals undergoing work trials, activities, or other employment through authorities.
- A shared responsibility for the store during opening hours, which also includes store responsibility during certain evenings and weekends.
- Be a role model regarding service ability and good treatment with the goal of creating a memorable experience for donors and customers in a welcoming, clean, and fresh store.
- Within the specified area of responsibility, lead, distribute, and coordinate work done with the help of employed staff, volunteers, and interns.
- As part of the management team, together with the store's employees, participate in and lead the daily work, focusing on sales and operations in the store.
- Together with the management team, responsible for sales and presentation of goods.
- Together with the operations manager, plan, process, develop, and be responsible for the store to achieve established sales and surplus goals.
- You report to the operations manager.
Qualifications
You have:
- a post-secondary education or other relevant higher education, or equivalent work experience.
- relevant work experience in leadership.
- experience in retail work, preferably in the retail sector.
- an interest in aid and second-hand work.

You are:
- confident in your leadership role and a relationship builder who is used to meeting people in various life situations and contexts.
- ready to use your sales knowledge to lead the organization towards our goals.
- self-driven, responsible, and enjoy working goal-oriented and structured.
- a person with good social skills and experience in customer interactions.
Preferred if:
- you have relevant experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and/or with special needs.
- have experience working in second-hand or retail.
