About the Role
Do you want to combine technology and sales in an international role with significant responsibility? As an Account Manager – OEM, Panel Builders at Secure Meters (Sweden) AB, you will be responsible for sales in the Nordic region (Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark). Your mission is to develop the business and build long-term customer relationships with our OEM partners in the industrial and energy sectors.
The role involves driving the entire sales process – from prospecting and needs analysis to presentation, negotiation, and closing – of our technically advanced solutions where hardware and software meet. You will work independently but closely with colleagues in both the Nordics and internationally, traveling about 2–3 days a week with overnight stays to meet customers and partners.
Here, you will play a key role in a global company with high technical standards and a strong focus on innovation, customer benefit, and sustainable solutions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and developing business relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identifying customer needs and presenting solutions in both hardware and software.
- Driving the entire sales process – from prospecting to closing and follow-up.
- Creating new business opportunities through partners, distributors, and key customers.
- Developing strategic sales plans in collaboration with management to achieve set goals.
- Keeping updated on products, market trends, and competition.
- Participating in industry fairs, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and strengthen the brand.
- Ensuring that customer data, business reports, and forecasts are documented in the CRM system Salesforce.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in technology and/or sales.
- 2–3 years of experience in technical sales of products or systems with long sales cycles.
- Experience in the energy sector, electrical energy, automation, or another technically complex environment is an advantage.
- The ability to understand and explain technical solutions in a pedagogical and customer-oriented manner.
- Good IT skills and experience working in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
