Rittal delivers IT infrastructure for the rapidly growing amount of data that needs to be managed in the world today – both for external data centers and companies' own data centers. It is a market that is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. This can include everything from server and network cabinets to power distribution, climate control, and monitoring, with a focus on both turnkey projects and component sales. In Sweden, Rittal is based in Ängelholm with smaller sales offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm.

Your Role
As an Area Sales Manager within IT Solutions, you will be a key player in Rittal's efforts to help companies and organizations manage the rapidly growing amount of data – with smart, sustainable, and future-proof solutions for IT infrastructure and data centers. You will work closely with both resellers, strategic IT partners, and end customers, where your ability to build relationships and act as an advisory partner makes you a natural problem solver and business developer.
The role is based at Rittal's office in Ängelholm or from home within the region, responsible for Skåne, Småland, Blekinge, and parts of Halland.
Your Mission
In this role, you will drive the entire project sales process – from the first contact to the completed deal. Your mission includes:
- Actively booking and conducting customer meetings and mapping needs in both the private and public sectors.
- Presenting and creating tailored solutions within IT infrastructure in collaboration with Rittal's specialists and project teams.
- Working closely with partners, consultants, installers, and system integrators to build joint business opportunities.
- Following up, negotiating, and closing deals with a focus on long-term relationships and customer value.
- Continuously monitoring the market and ensuring that Rittal stays close to its customers and their challenges.
You will be part of an engaged and competent team of Area Sales Managers and project managers, reporting to the Sales Manager for IT Solutions in Sweden.
Your Profile
To succeed, we believe you are a relationship-building and business-driven person with a genuine interest in technology and customer benefits. You are independent, structured, and used to working proactively with customers.
We would like you to have:
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales within IT infrastructure, data center solutions, or similar technical project sales.
- Experience in proactive sales and driving business from start to finish, preferably together with partners.
- Good understanding of the entire value chain in project sales and the ability to involve relevant stakeholders.
- Business acumen and experience in dialoguing with IT leaders and business managers regarding goals, strategies, and challenges.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English at a negotiation level.
- Experience with CRM systems and good computer skills (Office suite).
- A technical background is an advantage but not a requirement.
