As an R&D Engineer, you will be part of our development team where you will play a central role in the development of new components, products, applications, and innovative solutions with unique properties that effectively meet our global customers' needs. Our customers in Automotive have high demands for delivery reliability, quality, and performance of our products. A significant part of your role is to analyze, develop, test prototypes in the lab, validate, and practically implement new suppliers, components, and products that create new opportunities. You will have cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in the team but also with production, purchasing, and quality to turn ideas into reality and ensure that our products meet the highest standards. You will also act as technical support within your area internally for the different departments.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 08-16:30 with flexible hours.
Work location: Kalmar

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, materials science, or equivalent, and who speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English. We see that you have broad technical and practical knowledge, preferably with several years of experience in development within the manufacturing industry. It is also advantageous if you have some knowledge of chemistry.

You are a meticulous and creative person with a burning interest in thinking outside the box and finding new ways to solve complex problems and develop new technical solutions or properties. You are a humble team player who enjoys working in a group, but independently driving your own work also comes naturally to you. We see that you have the ability to see the big picture and are used to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
