Do you want to help drive projects that develop the future power grid in Kalmar?

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional experience as a designer and/or preparer who wants to be a driving link in our projects within distribution networks 0.4–50 kV, aiming for a robust power grid for the city of Kalmar.

About the position

As a power grid engineer with us, you will play an important role in:

Actively driving, structuring, planning, and participating in our various project assignments
Preparing cost calculations and factual basis for execution
Following up on projects - updating and documenting
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders – contractors, authorities, landowners, and customers
Including ensuring the necessary agreements are in place
Ensuring that projects comply with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines
Collaborating closely with colleagues in technical execution in the field and with other power grid engineers, as well as planning engineers.

Our project assignments may include reinvestment, new investment, and street lighting. Involvement in company-specific projects internally or externally is also a natural part of the work.

After an introduction, scheduled on-call duty is included in the position. The position may involve a security classification at level 3.

Qualifications for the position

You have several years of work experience in similar tasks and are confident in your technical skills. You have experience with practical work in the field. You enjoy taking responsibility, are solution-oriented, and thrive in a role where you can combine analysis with practical work.

Requirements for the position:

Relevant education in electrical power
Experience in design and/or preparation as well as practical work in the field
Driving license B
