About us
The Mora Park Foundation is a non-profit organization that runs schools and LSS accommodations for children and young people with various disabilities.
Mora Park LSS accommodation offers housing for children and young people according to 9§8 LSS in two scenic locations, Järna and Hölö. We have 4 accommodations where children and young people live full-time.
About the role of residential support worker
As a residential support worker, you will work to provide individually tailored support to children with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the children in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal response plan and implementation plan as a starting point.
The goal is for the children to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with a high quality of life. As a residential support worker, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the children's everyday lives.
Qualifications
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
- Experience in care and support work.
- High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
Preferred experience includes:
- Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and low-arousal responses.
- Working with complex support needs.
About the employment:
Employment type: Permanent employment and fixed-term employment
Scope: 80-100%
Working hours: According to schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call
Salary type: Monthly salary/hourly wage
Start date: Ongoing recruitment with start date as agreed
