We are now looking for a Network Leader/Family Therapist for the Family Team in Sundbyberg municipality.

We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and committed family therapist to our team within outpatient care in Sundbyberg. The position combines network work with family therapy, where the main focus is on the role of the network meeting leader.

About us
Outpatient care for children and young people in Sundbyberg works on behalf of the child and youth units to offer children, young people, and families qualified support through interventions that maintain high quality and are based on evidence, participation, and a holistic view.
The team currently consists of fourteen family therapists and a team leader. All treatment work is based on a systems theory perspective that emphasizes the interaction between the individual, family, and network.
For several years now, we in Sundbyberg have invested in providing both therapists and investigating social workers and managers with a commissioned training in basic systems theory/family therapy.
Your role
As a Network Meeting Leader and Family Therapist with us, you will work closely with children, young people, and parents who need support in their daily lives to change dysfunctional interaction patterns.
The assignment involves:
- Leading network work and strengthening families' natural support structures
- Conducting structured treatment interventions for families with varying issues
- Collaborating with schools, child and adolescent psychiatry, social services, and other important actors around the child
- Participating in method development and the team’s collective learning
- Contributing to the continued development of outpatient care practices in line with current research
- Spreading knowledge internally about what network work entails
We are looking for someone who is
- Calm and secure in meetings with children and parents
- Curious and reflective in your work
- Open, positive, and relationship-building in relation to our families, investigating social workers, and other partners
- Professional, committed, and has a genuine desire to make a difference for the families we meet
Requirements
- Degree in social work or another equivalent relevant higher education
- Further education in systems theory (equivalent to Step-1 in psychotherapy)
- Training in and experience of network work
- Experience in family therapy or outpatient work with children, young people, and their families.
- Ability to work in a structured, reflective manner with a focus on change
- Personal qualities are highly valued.
Meritorious
- Competence and experience in working with families where violence has occurred
- Competence and experience in working with families in their home environment
- Knowledge of how to meet separated parents in high conflict

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
