Land Manager with Technical Focus
We are looking for a land manager with a technical focus and a strong interest in urban development who wants to help develop and maintain the city's land holdings. Together, we create an even more attractive future city! With us, you will use your technical skills in a daily routine that consists of both variation and challenges.
Your Responsibilities
You will focus on the technical management of the land, including maintenance issues, land leases, and practical handling of land-related matters. You are the expert!
Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for the city's leases and usage rights. You will handle legal and financial matters, negotiate contracts, and act as the owner's representative for the municipality's land. You will create and maintain relationships with both current and future tenants. You will also collaborate with other departments and authorities. The role is broad, where all types of questions regarding the city's land may arise.
You enjoy taking on overall responsibility and actively working with the management of the lease agreements and objects that we are responsible for. You have economic and legal awareness and are meticulous in your tasks.
Your Competence
You have the ability to work independently, set your own priorities, and thrive in a changing environment where new challenges can arise quickly. You enjoy finding solutions, are curious and creative in your technical thinking, and are confident in your knowledge.
You have an academic education in urban development, surveying, or property law, or many years of work experience in the field. You have experience in land or property management and preferably knowledge of usage rights agreements and the Land Code. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Experience in municipal work and land management is a plus.
You enjoy social settings and appreciate creating contact with residents, representatives of the business community, and colleagues within the city. Flexibility and adaptability are important, and you understand the value of good service and a positive attitude.
We Offer
At the Land and Development Unit, we are 38 enthusiastic employees distributed across several departments working together towards ambitious goals. The Land Department, where this position is located, is responsible for managing the city's land reserve, leasehold rights, and providing land for various purposes such as industries, allotments, community gardens, and vacation homes. With us, you will have a developing role in an engaged workgroup. We offer good opportunities for professional development and a workplace where collaboration and innovation are in focus.
