Job Description

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are an important part of the care team and contribute to ensuring that everyday life functions as best as possible for patients who need help, support, and care. You collaborate with several professions and participate in treatments and examinations. The tasks vary depending on the workplace and organization, and to match you with the right position, you can indicate your preferences regarding specialization in your application.

About You

To work as a nursing assistant/care assistant, you must be a trained nursing assistant. In somatic hospital care, it is, in most units, a requirement to have 200 credits in emergency care and a passed APL for that course. You can also be a nursing or medical student who is approved by the start of the employment at term 3. To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that our employees can communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Our expectations of you are that you do your best based on your knowledge and abilities and always focus on what we are here for – our patients. You meet patients and relatives with empathy and respect and enjoy working in a team where you contribute to good cooperation. You take responsibility in your work and follow routines, and you continue to develop as you settle into the role.
