The Social Care Administration in Borås City is responsible for the municipality's disability services, social psychiatry, and health care interventions for the mentioned target groups. The administration has about 1000 employees and 45 managers. We are in an exciting phase where development and change work has a strong focus aimed at improving the quality for those we exist for.

We are looking for you who are an occupational therapist and want to work solution-focused, creatively, and together with a supportive team in the municipal health care with a focus on disability services. You will be part of one of our three teams and will be based at Bryggaregatan in Borås but work in a defined geographical area where you meet individuals living in group homes, service housing, or ordinary housing, as well as participants in daily activities.

As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life - this means you work preventively, compensatorily, and always with the individual's needs in focus. You have access to proven methods and structures, but we also know that it takes courage to think new and creatively. Our target group is complex, which makes flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to think outside the box important qualities in daily work. You work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants in a cross-professional team where we help and complement each other. We place great importance on your ability to thrive in collaboration with others but also to work independently. As an additional benefit, we offer you four hours per week that you can freely allocate for remote work, which provides a good balance between structure and freedom.
