Logistics Operator at Sordin in Vikmanshyttan

You will work closely with both production and purchasing, manage transports and discrepancies, and actively contribute to improvements in our processes. About the Position

The position of Logistics Operator at Sordin includes many different tasks. Among other things, you will have primary responsibility for unloading incoming goods and performing receiving inspections to ensure that deliveries match the delivery note, purchase order, and transport documents. Since much of this work is done using a forklift, a forklift license for A+B is required, and we would also like to see that you have experience operating forklifts in a work environment.

In this position, you will also have contact with purchasers and freight forwarders, book transports, and handle freight documents, as well as manage and register non-conforming products. This is done in our business system Monitor, where previous experience with the program is highly meritorious. You will also be responsible for material replenishment from buffers to picking locations in production, as well as for packing and packaging ready-for-delivery goods. The role also includes daily supervision of the company's forklifts, and you are expected to participate in inventories and stock checks. You will also have the primary responsibility for ensuring that we handle waste correctly in collaboration with external partners.

Your Profile

We are looking for a reliable worker who is willing to go the extra mile in the workplace. You are self-driven, take initiative, and enjoy working independently, but still have a strong sense of teamwork. The role involves many points of contact, so good social skills and the ability to collaborate are important. You must be able to communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish. Good communication skills in English are an advantage. Finally, you have an eye for improvements and are happy to contribute to the development of our processes.

The position starts as a staffing role where you will be employed by HR Dalarna and leased to Sordin for the first 6 months.
