Transport Planner

About the Role

In your role as a transport planner, you will be part of a workgroup alongside other planners where you work closely together in smaller teams. You will focus on logistics and transportation and be part of a regional team working in Region Europe North (REN) Deliver Sweden. The transports you plan consist of tank truck transports with liquid gas as well as deliveries of gas in swap bodies. Deliveries mainly occur to customers in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, but there are also other cross-border transports. Your tools will include the planning system Liquid Control System, LCS, as well as to some extent SAP, and you will work with:

• Planning and coordinating transports
• Monitoring and order management
• Optimizing transport economics and the right service level for customers

The position of transport planner is a consulting assignment with placement according to agreement. As a consultant, you will be employed by Adecco Sweden. Initially, the assignment is for 12 months, and for the right person, there are opportunities for extension.

About You

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, meticulous, and communicative. Furthermore, we also see that you are self-driven and can take your own initiatives; you should also enjoy having many different points of contact in your work. You have a high school education and preferably post-secondary studies focused on logistics, transport economics, and transport planning. Previous work experience in transport & logistics is highly meritorious for necessary insight into the daily flow.

Important for the role:

• Understanding of logistical flows
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A strong drive and good collaborative skills.
