Timber Truck Driver

About the employer

Our client is a well-established player in the forestry industry, known for its focus on sustainability, quality, and long-term relationships. With efficient transport and strong local ties, they are an important part of the Swedish forestry industry. After the assignment is completed and satisfactory work is done, there is a possibility of a permanent position with the employer.

Your tasks

As a timber truck driver, you are responsible for transporting timber from the forest to the industry and from the industry to customers within the Nordic region. The job requires:

• Experience driving heavy vehicles in forest environments

• Handling of tachographs, cargo securing, and transport documents

• Digital delivery management via handheld devices

• Communication with customers and colleagues via phone and email

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in timber transport with a crane

• Experience with Viol and TASS

• Good experience handling heavy vehicles in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to be on the road

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility

• A positive attitude and good teamwork skills

• Physical strength and endurance – heavy lifting is required

Requirements:

• Swedish CE driving license

• YKB for freight transport

• Digital tachograph card

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
