Are you our new everyday hero? We are growing in Dalarna and are now looking for you who want to work as a part-time bus driver in Rättvik or Leksand.
At Transdev, you are an important person – you are a true hero who ensures that our passengers get to school, work, the hospital, or leisure activities every day. Without you, Sweden would come to a standstill and our daily lives would not run as smoothly.
About you If you are social, responsible, and enjoy helping people while also being comfortable behind the wheel, then being a bus driver is the job for you. You drive the vehicle in a safe and secure manner with environmental consideration at the core. You are responsible and can remain calm even in stressful traffic and passenger situations.
You need to hold a valid:
- D driver's license
- Professional competence certificate (YKB)*
- Driver card for digital tachograph according to the Transport Agency
- And be proficient in Swedish in both spoken and written form
*If you do not currently have a valid YKB, there is an opportunity for dialogue regarding this and to update through us. A typical workday You always start and end your workday at the depot in Leksand or Rättvik. Working hours vary depending on the timetable and your shift layout. As a part-time employee with us, there are plenty of shifts available to be assigned. Our buses operate in scheduled traffic, every day of the year, around the clock.
It is a varied job with a lot of personal responsibility while also being a social job. Even if you drive the same route, you meet new people every day. You are available to answer any questions that passengers may have along the way.
In addition, you report any traffic disruptions, deviations, and vehicle faults to traffic management.
You are simply the face of public transport, and your main task is to provide our passengers with a simple, safe, and pleasant journey!
About Transdev Dalarna We have been operating scheduled traffic in Dalarna for 6 years, and today our driver team consists of more than 250 drivers. As a bus driver at our depot, you will work among colleagues with a strong sense of community and team spirit. Many have long experience in the industry, and we share, both figuratively and literally, knowledge and competence along the way.
