Specialist Physician in Internal Medicine

We are now seeking a specialist physician in Internal Medicine for the endocrinology clinic, primarily working on ward B194.

Our Offer

The Endocrinology Clinic is part of the Medicine Center and provides specialized healthcare in the field of hormonal diseases. The clinic has a regional responsibility for patients needing specialized endocrinological investigation and treatment. The clinic provides inpatient care together with B194, where we staff our 6 care places daily with physicians. Within inpatient care, we also have a shared responsibility for internal medicine patients. Evenings and weekends, our care places are managed by the medical on-call service. At our clinic, we work a lot in teams for the benefit of our patients, we have a planned workload with relatively little on-call duty. We are located in modern and bright facilities and are proud of our strong team spirit and good working environment.

Job Description

We are looking for someone interested in working in multiprofessional teams both internally within the clinic and together with other specialties within the framework of endocrinology rounds, pituitary rounds, foot ulcer rounds, and specialist maternity care. The work includes regular ward and outpatient clinic duties as well as participation in the clinic's educational assignments. Opportunities for professional development are available.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in internal medicine who wants to help develop the endocrinology clinic to meet the future needs of healthcare.

You have good collaborative skills and a positive attitude towards process development and an interest in modernizing care.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing, corresponding to Swedish C1, as you will need to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, you are a good listener and clear in your communication. You collaborate well and are eager to share knowledge and experiences with others in the workgroup, regardless of profession. You have a positive mindset and see opportunities in changes. You have an interest in education and research and are a knowledge resource for others.
