The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act and shall implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee in home care in Borensberg, you will provide our elderly with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. The work is performed based on approved interventions in the elderly's own homes.

The tasks may vary between service interventions such as cleaning and laundry, personal care, daily routines such as dressing and undressing, as well as escorting where you accompany the elderly to a scheduled meeting or activity.

The work is largely independent, but you work closely with both colleagues and the responsible nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. We develop the operations together through our different competencies, and we want you to contribute to a good result and the best possible everyday life for our customers.

As an employee, there is an opportunity for delegation where you, on behalf of licensed staff, perform prescribed health and medical interventions.

The work also includes administrative tasks, where you use both computer and phone as work tools. As a nursing assistant, the role also includes being a care contact where you are responsible for establishing a care plan for your contact persons.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or someone with several years of experience as a caregiver in the field of elderly care. For those who lack nursing assistant training, there is an opportunity for an apprenticeship where you combine studies to become a nursing assistant with work in home care.

In our operations, the work is performed in accordance with our values where the individual's needs are at the center. It is important to us that our elderly are involved in their care and that the work is carried out with respect for the individual's integrity and self-determination.

As a person, you are stable and secure in yourself. You handle stress constructively and maintain a good mood under pressure and adversity. You are a team player and put the team before yourself.

You are comfortable using a computer as a support in your work and adapt easily to new digital tools. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish as the role involves documentation.

As we provide care and support in a large geographical area, a B driver's license for at least an automatic car is a requirement.
