Rehab Väst is part of primary care in western Östergötland within Region Östergötland. The organization offers rehabilitation in primary and specialized care. Rehabilitation is mainly conducted at the Hospital in Motala and in Mjölby, but also at the health centers in Vadstena and Ödeshög. Within primary care in the west, there is close collaboration between the units, creating good conditions for development, participation, and cooperation.

Rehab Väst is an academic unit with high ambitions in education, development, and research. A total of about 85 employees work here with broad and deep knowledge in the form of administrators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and social workers. We have close collaboration with the medical faculty at Linköping University, the county's other rehabilitation organizations, and health centers in the western part of the county.

Job Description

We are looking for a physiotherapist for neurorehab in Mjölby and Motala. Our team includes both our clinics in Mjölby and Motala as well as the Specialized Rehabilitation Home Care (SRH). The work mainly focuses on patients with neurological diagnoses, but also includes patients who are amputees and are assessed to become prosthetic walkers. In neurorehab, the multiprofessional team collaborates to achieve the best possible level of function and activity.

You will work at our clinics in Mjölby and Motala but also within specialized home rehabilitation (SRH). Common tasks include assessment, training/interventions based on individually set goals, and the establishment of rehabilitation plans. Side responsibilities with several actors and supervision of students, staff, and relatives are common in daily work. You will be well taken care of by your new colleagues when you start with us and will be included in Rehab Väst's introductory program. You are part of a development-driven organization with good opportunities for relevant further education.

Work Group

Your immediate work group consists of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, but you also collaborate closely with speech therapists and social workers. Together we create a safe and supportive work environment where we learn from each other and develop together.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in neurological rehabilitation is an advantage. The work requires you to have good language skills in Swedish. A driver's license is required.

It is important that you are confident in your role and have an empathetic ability. You will work in a team which requires good collaboration skills and flexibility while also meeting patients independently and needing to feel secure in making your own decisions in patient work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
