The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and weekend, and the General Medical Training Center.

We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the end-of-life stage.

Job Description

As a Pediatric Nurse, you will work with our assignments concerning child health care such as parental support, telephone counseling, reception, group activities, and home visits. The Pediatric Care is also part of the family center that is geographically close to the Pediatric Care facilities. Together with educators in the open preschool's activities and social services from the municipality, we have close cooperation for children and parents for health-promoting, preventive, and supportive purposes. To thrive in the role, we believe it is important that you appreciate working independently and collaborating with colleagues. The work consists of independently organizing your reception according to the child health care program, while you and your colleagues support each other and work together to develop the operation forward. You will also work in a team with experienced doctors at the Pediatric Care and collaborate with other professionals from the health center and our healthcare neighbors in the building.

Work Group

We are about 65 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. At the Pediatric Care, you will work closely with five other nurses who are experienced in their roles. We work together with collaboration and respect for each other's competence; our goal is a work climate where everyone has varied tasks and can develop in their professional role.

About You

You are a district nurse or pediatric nurse, preferably with experience in primary care/Pediatric Care. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level.

Experience with the Cosmic journal system is an advantage. A B driver's license is a requirement. If you have previous experience in Pediatric Care, that is also an advantage. Language skills in various languages are seen as an asset for our children in the operation and their parents.

You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. You have good communication skills towards patients, colleagues, and other operations. We are looking for someone who is engaged and interested in working together with colleagues and other professionals to advance health-promoting work for the benefit of children. You find it exciting and developing to work with children and families from many different cultures. We place great importance on personal suitability.
