About the Position

We are looking for an escort for a person with visual impairment who needs support to participate in everyday life and various activities. The assignment involves accompanying them on walks, running errands, visiting cafes, or engaging in other social activities. An important part of the role is to provide visual interpretation and support for orientation in the environment, so that they can feel safe and included.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying activities outside the home, such as walks, social visits, and errands
• Providing visual interpretation and support for orientation
• Ensuring safety and respectful interaction throughout the escorting

We are looking for someone who

• Is empathetic, attentive, and has a good demeanor
• Is flexible and has good communication skills
• Has language skills in Kurdish Kurmanji (requirement)
• Experience in care or working with people is an advantage but not a requirement
