Do you have a burning interest in production technology and want to work in a role where you can help develop the products of the future? We are now looking for an experienced Production Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client!

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Production Engineer and consultant, you will play a central role in driving efficiency and development of production flows in a high-tech and complex environment. You will be a key person in the production flow and responsible for ensuring a balanced and efficient production. You will work at the interface between design and manufacturing. The role also includes taking your own initiatives for improvement by identifying and implementing projects focused on quality, lead time, and efficiency. In this role, you will work with:

• Optimizing production flows and work methods
• Designing layouts and workplaces for optimal flow efficiency
• Conducting value stream analyses and balancing work
• Planning and implementing production updates based on design changes
• Monitoring production economics

We are looking for someone who is improvement-driven, efficiency-oriented, and analytical. You have a natural ability to see improvement potential and translate ideas into concrete results. We also believe that you are used to and enjoy working independently but are also good at collaborating with your colleagues in a close-knit team.

To fit and thrive in this role, the following points also apply to you:

• Production engineering education or equivalent experience
• At least three years of experience in production technology, preferably from the manufacturing industry
• Experience in implementing new products in production
• Good understanding of LEAN methodology
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

If you have experience with balancing, flow simulation, and value stream analysis, as well as experience with IFS ERP9, we consider this a strong merit.

At our client, safety and trust are at the center. As part of the process, you will therefore need to undergo a background check and security classification. Swedish citizenship is also a requirement.
