Summer Temporary Position as Service Technician for Mobile Machines

During the period of June to August, we need your help when our regular staff goes on vacation. Therefore, we are looking for several individuals who can support the operations during the summer period.

The work involves being responsible for an area that is constantly changing and places high demands on safety awareness and security.

As our operations are conducted in the mining area of Kaunisvaara, you will be stationed on-site there.

Job Responsibilities

As a summer temporary worker in mobile machine maintenance, you will perform tasks such as servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing our loaders, mining trucks, drilling rigs, and other mining machines.

Your work will also include assisting with other tasks within production and other departments within your competence when regular tasks are not being performed. The role also includes ensuring that the handling of machines, facilities, and processes is carried out safely and efficiently from a work environment, cost, and maintenance perspective.

Education and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent qualifications that the company deems comparable, preferably with a focus on technology, industry, or maintenance.

A valid B driver's license for manual transmission is required for employment, as well as the ability to communicate in Swedish both orally and in writing, and basic IT skills. Experience in service and maintenance work within industry or mining is an advantage. Having a C license or machine operator training is a plus.

The role requires you to be self-driven and take responsibility for and structure your tasks while driving processes forward. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes.

As a person, you are attentive and accommodating, with an interest, willingness, and ability to help others, and you strive to deliver solutions. You have good collaboration skills, listen, communicate, and resolve arising situations constructively. To succeed in the job, it is important that you are meticulous and have a desire to achieve set goals.
