Tegelbacken is a special accommodation for people with dementia.

At Tegelbacken, various professionals work in teams with the goal of providing person-centered care to ensure that residents can continue to live as good a life as possible despite their dementia.

We are now looking for new colleagues/employees who want to contribute to this work.

Your future tasks

Your main task is to design a safe and secure personal care for the residents. You work to utilize the residents' own resources, support them in their daily lives, and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday life.

You will work based on the residents' implementation plans and decided care interventions. You document according to SoL, evaluate, and follow up on the interventions.

You will be a contact person for some residents. It may also be relevant to act as a representative for documentation, nutrition, activities, or to take responsibility for mentoring new staff or students.

The work involves shifts during the day, evening, and every other weekend. The entire Tegelbacken is your workplace, but you will mostly work on one department, which department may vary depending on where your specific skills are most needed at the moment.

The role also includes

That you will perform various health and medical assignments, maintain family contacts, perform various service tasks such as preparing meals, and support individuals with household management.

Who are you?

You are a trained nursing assistant or have other education/work experience that we consider adequate for the positions. We place great importance on previous experience, personal suitability, and the ability to remain calm in demanding situations.

All residents you will meet have a dementia diagnosis, but other diagnoses and conditions may also be present. Knowledge of dementia, psychiatry, and/or addiction is an advantage.

You have good knowledge and the ability to provide a low-arousal response.

The work requires you to be responsible and able to work both independently and in a team. You have a positive attitude towards your work and contribute to a good working environment.

You enjoy a varied job, are flexible, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

You have good computer skills and are knowledgeable in social documentation.

You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
