Linden is a department focused on individuals with cognitive illnesses/dementia. It is the smallest of three departments at Södergården's special housing for the elderly in Stockaryd.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a trained nursing assistant or specialist nursing assistant to Linden who wants to be part of the work to provide quality support, care, and nursing to our users. As a nursing assistant, you have an important role where you, together with your colleagues, create good quality and a meaningful everyday life for our users. You contribute to ensuring that the individual needs of the users are central to the design of the work, respect the users' bodily integrity, self-determination, and participation, and help the users experience well-being and safety.

The tasks include personal care, transfers, social support, delegated health and medical care tasks, cleaning, laundry, activation, ongoing documentation, and paying attention to BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia).

In this role, you need to have good social skills, be attentive, responsible, flexible, and able to meet people with respect, safety, and professionalism. Your contribution is of great importance to our users!

The position is a temporary contract for 3 months with a chance of extension and permanent employment. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
