Registered Nurse for Psychiatric Inpatient Clinic

Ward 91

The Psychiatric Inpatient Clinic, forensic psychiatry, is looking for a nurse for Ward 91, which is one of five forensic psychiatric wards at Brinkåsen in Vänersborg.

The ward's mission is to treat and rehabilitate patients who have been sentenced to forensic psychiatric care and who have a psychotic disorder.

Job Responsibilities

We work in care teams based on case management and individually tailored care with our forensic psychiatric care process as a starting point. As a nurse, you will have overall nursing responsibility within the care team and be responsible for various medical interventions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or a specialist nurse in psychiatry. We work in teams with other professionals here at Brinkåsen and have continuous contact with each other. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate.

Experience in psychiatric nursing is an advantage but not a requirement.

Clinical Foundation Year

As a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year with regular mentoring conversations on the ward. Interviews will be conducted continuously throughout the application period.
