JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We need to expand our staffing in the form of escorts and relief workers for children within LSS. Primarily, this concerns our recreational activities within short-term supervision for children over twelve years old according to LSS. Short-term supervision is for children over twelve years with functional variations who no longer have the right to after-school care outside school hours but still need it.

It may also involve escorting children to and from school or relief services at home for children.

The extent may therefore vary depending on the needs of the operation. During school weeks, it may involve a few hours before or after the school day. During school holidays, it may involve full days.

Common tasks include:

• Collaborate with guardians, colleagues, and unit managers regarding the child's needs
• Plan activities based on the child's needs and interests
• Provide the individual support the children need and work based on the implementation plan

QUALIFICATIONS

You have the ability to create security and build trust in your interactions with children, and you always prioritize the child's best interests. With creativity and patience, you can help create meaning in everyday life.

It is an advantage if you are trained in low-arousal approaches, have knowledge or work experience related to neuropsychiatric functional variations.

The position is vacant provided that there is no surplus, need for reassignment, or priority within the municipality. A probationary period may be applied.
