Your new job

Here you will have a varied daily life where you meet patients of different ages and with varying care needs. The workplace varies depending on where the patient lives, which means that no day is the same. As a physiotherapist, you work health-promoting with a focus on strengthening the citizen's own resources and ability to rehabilitate. You make assessments, plan, and implement interventions that promote quality of life and participation.

Your duties include:

• Investigation, treatment, and follow-up of rehabilitation interventions
• Prescription and testing of aids
• Documentation in the operational system for safe and secure care
• Guidance and instructions to nursing staff, relatives, and sometimes students
• Collaboration with other actors around the patient, including primary and specialist care
• Active participation in development and quality work

As a physiotherapist with us, you work cross-professionally and have close collaboration with occupational therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and care managers.

Your qualifications

• You are a licensed physiotherapist
• Experience as a physiotherapist is an advantage
• The job requires a B driver's license and experience driving a car
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills are also needed for documentation

Welcome to us

The municipal health and medical care is divided into 13 health and medical care teams and one home team. Together we are about 460 dedicated employees. We have specialist orientations in psychiatry, palliative care, home rehabilitation, dementia, and functional support.

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of a rehabilitation team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants based in a team location at Asecs shopping center. In this position, you will work with health and medical care teams 4 or 5, which are responsible for regular housing and special housing in the following geographical areas:

• Team 4: Liljeholmen, Rosenlund, Österängen, Tenhult with countryside and Ödestugu. This also includes Österängen's nursing home and two short-term care facilities in Ekhagen. After the turn of the year, a short-term care facility in Rosenlund will also be added.
• Team 5: Ekhagen, Kålgården, and Centrum öster. This includes the nursing homes Bondberget, Dundret, and Kålgården as well as Kålgårdsgatan's service housing and a short-term care facility focused on rehabilitation.

Good to know

The recruitment concerns a permanent position with a start date by agreement. Jönköping municipality works with full-time as the norm and always offers 100% employment. Working hours are scheduled during the day, with the observation that some weekend work during holidays may occur.
