Finally, the opportunity to work as a nurse with us at A Pathway In, Children and Youth, Mental Health, is here! Are you attentive and relationship-building with the desire to do something truly important? Then one of these positions may be for you!
The Role of the Nurse
The work involves being the first contact by phone regarding advice and qualified assessment of the appropriate level of care and further actions for children and adolescents with mental health issues. The assessment is made using a structured phone interview and a questionnaire.
All incoming referrals to the child and adolescent psychiatric clinic and child and youth health services in Region Jönköping County are handled and assessed within the unit. As a nurse, you will also staff our emergency phone line and, together with the primary on-call service at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic, assess whether the patient's condition requires an emergency intervention.
You will have the opportunity to help develop the unit together with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team. We value each other's competencies and work on continuous improvements.
The positions are temporary for one year starting from 2026-01-01 or by agreement, as well as a permanent full-time position starting by agreement. Your primary employment will be within child and youth health services, with a manager on-site for the unit A Pathway In, Children and Youth, Mental Health (EVI). Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, daytime 08:00-16:30.
