As a unit manager in cleaning services, you will have an exciting and varied assignment where you lead and develop the unit consisting of various cleaning areas with approximately 35-40 employees. You have overall responsibility for planning the operations, work environment, and personnel, while also following up on cleaning efforts and ensuring high quality in our services. You will have two team leaders to assist you and work closely with support functions within HR and finance.

Your role includes budget and result responsibility, driving development and change work, and contributing to the overall work within the cleaning service operations.

You will be based at Garnisonsvägen 40 in Hässleholm, where you work closely with your two manager colleagues and team leaders in cleaning services and collaborate with other operational areas in the building. Since the employees are spread throughout the municipality, the role requires you to lead partially from a distance, which demands creating good conditions for collaboration. An important part of your role is to regularly visit the cleaning areas to meet employees and be present in the operations.

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Who are you?

You have a university degree, preferably with a focus on organization and leadership or behavioral science. Alternatively, you have other experience that we assess as relevant and comparable to the educational requirement. We see that you have current leadership experience.

To succeed in this position, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good digital competence. A driving license for a manual transmission is a requirement since you will visit your employees working throughout the municipality.

It is an advantage if you have experience in cleaning services, have worked with and have a strong interest in development and change work, as well as experience from working in a politically governed organization.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and enjoys driving issues forward. You are structured and clear in your communication. You have good collaboration skills, are relationship-building, and have a leadership style that creates engagement and security within the group.

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's residents, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinated within several important service areas, including property, streets and parks, meals, and cleaning services. With us, you work to improve the everyday life of our residents every day.

Within the department for cleaning services, textile washing, and operational maintenance, approximately 150 employees work. We maintain premises and serve operations within elderly care and for individuals with disabilities. We are present in preschools, primary schools, after-school care, high schools, special housing within the care administration, and offices.
