Björknäs group home offers accommodation for six individuals who are part of the target group 1. The residence consists of six modern apartments, all with an open and spacious layout. Our staff has extensive experience and broad expertise in the autism spectrum, and we work with clear pedagogical methods as a foundation to create a safe and tailored environment for each individual.
About the role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we build on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.
Qualifications
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
- Experience in care and support work.
- High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
It is an advantage if you also have
- Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
- Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment conditions
Employment type: Permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period.Working hours: 1 person at 100% - 85% & substitute staff as needed.Working time: Rolling schedule covering daytime, evenings, and weekends.Start date: By agreement, we welcome candidates who can start soon.Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
