Object Specialist for the Transport Department
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.
The Transport Department (TA) is tasked with transporting and supervising detained individuals. These are the clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service who are moved between detention centers and prisons, to court hearings, hospitals, and more. TA also transports detained individuals for, among others, the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Migration Agency, and psychiatry.
