In the heart of Lapland, close to fish-rich lakes and vast cloudberry marshes, lies the Arjeplog-Arvidsjaur parish.

The parish consists of two congregations, Arjeplog and Arvidsjaur, and is located in an area characterized by both pioneering spirit and Sami tradition. Residents of the area often appreciate the small community with proximity to nature and outdoor life, as well as the opportunity for fellowship that a small society provides.

The Arjeplog-Arvidsjaur parish aims to create good meeting places for the congregation members and, together with volunteers, work for the expansion of God's kingdom in our area.

About the position:

The position is a curacy with a delegated coordination responsibility for the activities of the priests and musicians in the parish. The position holder is part of the parish management team.

In addition to a specific coordination responsibility, the position includes fundamental pastoral duties such as worship services, church ceremonies, pastoral care, and teaching among both older and younger members.
