Trummans Preschool is centrally located in Gällivare. The surrounding buildings consist of apartment houses and villas, as well as various service buildings such as swimming pools, ice rinks, libraries, museums, schools, and beautiful park and forest areas. It is within walking distance to the center and to schools such as Hedskolan and Sjöparksskolan. The preschool has four age-divided departments: 1-2 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years.

Job Responsibilities

As a childcare worker, you will work with others in the team to carry out the activities planned according to the Preschool Curriculum (Lpfö).

Qualifications

Childcare education or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for a position in Gällivare Municipality.

A police record extract is required upon employment.

Fixed-term employment 100%, from 2026-02-09 to: 2026-06-20.

Monthly salary according to agreement and we apply individual salary setting – please state your salary expectations.
