Are you looking for an exciting and varied job where you have the opportunity to make a difference for children and young people? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

The Individual and Family Care in Boden has an organization aimed at working with multi-competent teams that collaborate around and with clients and families to provide support in various areas. Through the close collaboration of all teams, it contributes to a safe as well as a developing work environment for employees.

At Family Team, social workers focus on financial support, foster homes, family law/parenting, addiction/health issues, and children and young people with the goal of creating a functioning whole for the families we meet.

On the Family Team for children & young people, we are a group of social workers of different ages and with various previous work experiences who together form a group where we complement the experienced members' knowledge with the new perspectives of the less experienced.

Normal working hours are between 07:45-16:00.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Every cog is equally important in our wheels as we work to investigate the situation of children and young people and grant and follow up on various forms of support measures. The tasks are varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful.

We are 13 social workers working with a focus on children/young people and 2 with a focus on placement case management. In the role of placement case manager, your primary task is to follow the care of children/young people living in a home other than their own (foster homes/HVB) and their families to ensure they receive quality care and good support. You will have close collaboration with both the other social workers in children/young people and those focused on foster homes and our providers in the combined open care.

Our own internal supervisor provides a safe introduction for those who are new as well as close guidance in everyday life for those who feel more secure in their work.

To ensure everyone enjoys their job and can perform at their best, we have various flexible solutions to facilitate work-life balance; of course, we also have a range of benefits for you as an employee.

QUALIFICATIONS

No matter who you are and what knowledge you bring, we are convinced that you will fit in and contribute important skills to the team. You should, of course, have a degree in social work and a desire to support people in vulnerable situations, but we will solve the rest together. We have a solid foundation of routines and established methods but also enjoy developing new ones and enhancing our competencies through environmental scanning and training.

Of course, everyone who wants to work full-time does so, with flexible hours and the possibility of remote work. The Individual and Family Care has a local agreement on reduced working hours, which means we work until 4 PM on all working days of the year but with maintained salary for full-time work.

We strive for an even gender and age distribution and see the strength in diversity; it is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, but it is also an advantage if you have knowledge of additional languages and/or experience of other cultures. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

OTHER

We value an even age and gender distribution as well as diversity in all professional areas. We have a smoke-free working time. We offer a wellness hour each week and a wellness grant. Through our health portal, you as an employee can book various wellness activities such as massage, trial training, lectures, etc.

Feel free to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
