The Women's Clinic in Falun is the only delivery clinic in the county. In 2024, 2365 children were born with us. The delivery department works closely with the maternity ward, gynecological department, neonatal unit, and our clinics. We offer safe and evidence-based maternity care where the expecting family is at the center. Our midwives work in teams with nursing assistants and doctors to create a safe, calm, and professional environment.

Temporary Position: Midwife, Delivery Department Falun

In the delivery department, we work evidence-based to provide safe, secure, and person-centered care - with the expecting and new family in focus. We care for the healthy in both normal and complicated delivery processes. As a midwife with us, you will provide support and care during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care - both in normal and abnormal conditions. You will also be responsible for the care of the newborn, breastfeeding advice, and promoting parenthood. In the delivery department, you will work in a team with nursing assistants and doctors - the goal is always for each family to receive the care they need. The maternity ward is a medical postpartum department. Healthy mothers and babies often stay at a patient hotel or go home early, with follow-up through our Postpartum clinic.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed midwife
• has a genuine commitment to childbirth and maternity care
• enjoys working independently - while also being part of a close team
• is confident in prioritizing and making quick decisions when the situation requires it

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience in delivery, antenatal, or emergency care
• are accustomed to working in teams with multiple professions
