The Medical Clinic in Falun is a county clinic that conducts extensive operations within emergency care and inpatient care as well as specialized outpatient care. The clinic consists of six different sections responsible for their respective areas: hematology, nephrology, pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and neurology. The collaboration between the specialties is good, and at our joint morning meetings, there is a warm atmosphere with collegial discussions that contribute to optimizing individual patient care and keeping the entire team updated within the other sections' fields.

As a resident physician with us, you will be offered an individualized training position while participating in the emergency medical operations as an on-call physician in the emergency department and within inpatient care. Once you have chosen your specialization, you will also be part of the team at the clinic. As part of the position, you may also periodically work at other internal medicine clinics in the county.

We are looking for someone who wishes to pursue a residency in internal medicine and intends to specialize in one of our operational areas. We seek a colleague with a broad interest in internal medicine, a desire to participate in and develop our emergency medical mission, and a commitment to contributing to a continued good collaborative climate within and outside the clinic.

To qualify for the position, you must hold a Swedish medical license. Personal suitability is highly valued.
