Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist, you will be a key person in the team where you:

  • Work with assessments, treatment, and follow-up at home and in care facilities
  • Contribute your expertise in interdisciplinary teams
  • Drive rehabilitative efforts and work based on individual needs and resources
  • Have the opportunity to influence working methods and the development of the organization

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a licensed occupational therapist
  • Has a valid driver's license (B)
  • Can express themselves well in spoken and written Swedish
  • Preferably has experience in municipal health and medical care (meritorious but not required)

Skills and Abilities

We are looking for a person who has a rehabilitative approach and good collaboration skills, who sees opportunities in change and wants to help shape the future of rehabilitation with us.

Social Services

With over 700 employees, the social services department conducts a broad range of activities to ensure that our residents receive the support and assistance they are entitled to. The department operates under the social welfare board and is responsible for care and support for the elderly and individuals with physical and mental disabilities, as well as support, advice, and other interventions for children, youth, and adults. The work of the social services department is regulated by laws and regulations, primarily the Social Services Act (SoL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
