Temporary Positions in Care and Support in Hedemora Municipality

We welcome both temporary workers who can work continuously throughout the year and summer workers who want to work on a schedule during the summer. Together we create safety, joy, and good quality of life for those we are here for.

You can work in:

• Home Care (ordinary housing) – You visit and assist elderly people living in their own homes. Here you get to be outdoors and move around a lot, which means that the days become both varied and eventful. You work both independently and together with supportive colleagues.
• Nursing Homes (special housing) – In our nursing homes, you help our residents with their needs for care and support in everyday life. Together with colleagues in different roles, you form a team that works to create wonderful days and a warm, safe, and joyful environment for those living here.
• LSS & Social Psychiatry – Here you support individuals of all ages with physical or mental disabilities by working in group homes, in housing with special services, providing housing support, and personal assistance within LSS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute in care and support, you are an important part of someone’s everyday life. You assist with tasks such as:

• personal care and service interventions,
• meals and activities,
• and above all, creating wonderful moments and meaningful days for those we serve.

It could be a smile, a walk in the sun, or a conversation over a cup of coffee that makes a difference for someone else.

Working Hours and Scope

Our operations run around the clock, every day of the year, which means you can work days, evenings, nights, or weekends. This provides a great chance to combine work with days off where you can enjoy your leisure time!

QUALIFICATIONS

You do not need to have extensive experience; the most important thing for us is that you have your heart in the right place. We are looking for someone who:

• Meets people with warmth, respect, and commitment
• Is attentive, flexible, and confident in themselves,
• Is at least 18 years old and speaks/writes Swedish at a basic level,
• Has a B driver's license (required for certain positions),
• Can provide a criminal record extract. You can order this from www.polisen.se (keep in mind that it may take up to 14 days to receive it)

Computer skills are needed for documentation.

We also check that you have the right to work in Sweden.
