Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist within municipal rehabilitation, you will work to prevent, investigate, and treat physical disabilities in the elderly. You will be an important part of our interdisciplinary team and collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff to create the best possible care and quality of life for our elderly, including:

• Assessment and treatment of elderly individuals with rehabilitation needs.
• Fall prevention and training to strengthen balance, strength, and mobility.
• Testing of assistive devices and adaptation of home environments.
• Supervision and training of care staff and students in rehabilitative practices.
• Collaboration with healthcare centers, specialized care, and relatives.
• Documentation and follow-up according to applicable guidelines.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist who has relevant data skills for the position and good knowledge of the Swedish language. Experience in geriatric rehabilitation is a merit.

Other

Driver's license B for manual car.

Skills and Abilities

Good collaboration skills and an interest in development work within elderly care.
